Lots of strange flavor combinations on the menu that just don't work (vanilla sweet potato purée alongside Brussels sprouts and caramel-glazed pork, cheddar cheese beside short ribs, a bed of hummus underneath cauliflower). Other things just seemed completely off: roasted cauliflower had no roasted qualities and might as well have been steamed, salted caramel tart with caramel that was overdone and burnt-tasting, and blueberry crumble with just a dusting of crust.November 03, 2016
